When I had the inspiration to incorporate art glass into the welded metal sculptural pieces, a pair of sconces I had dragged around for 20 years became the wings of my cranky mosquito, finally fulfilling the destiny of those moldings. The home decor and sculptural pieces using art glass require more planning and setup to secure the glass in place which always creates a challenge.
