Wondrous Beasts
My art metal sculptures start with only one fragment of a larger puzzle. Marrying iron, metal and glass together to create one-of-a-kind art, and using the salvaged metal to design unique art pieces is a challenge and a thrill. I instantly knew the Corn Rake Blade would become the head of the Phoenix and worked around that component. The Wings of the stork drew that piece together while the jaws of the Angler Fish was immediately apparent when I pulled it out of the scrap metal heap. The Furrowed Peacock transformed itself many times before its final magnificence.
